A COP22, a Conferência da ONU sobre Mudanças Climáticas começou no dia 7 de novembro, em Marrakesh, no Marrocos, três dias depois que o Acordo de Paris entrou em vigor no dia 4 de novembro.
A tarefa dos países que ratificaram o acordo contra a mudança do clima é a de estabilizar o aquecimento global em bem menos de 2°C e fazer esforços para limitar o aumento da temperatura a 1,5°C, em relação aos níveis pré-industriais.
